Default CallXpress and the SV8100

FYI, CallXpress integrates very well with the SV8100, you still use Analog integration, but it is very tight. In the Callxpress Integration tab, select:
Nitsuko 384. You will get all the features that a D82 integration would give.
Even passes telephone number into the Subject field in Outlook.

Have been using it for years, starting with the IPKII.

For the SV8300, the MCI integration is what you would select,it works great too.

That's excellent information - I've only ever installed them on an Aastra system. Where in the world are you installing these combinations?

cheers

Canada, but I'm sure there are a few dealers in the US doing the same. Have never been a big fan of Inskin, we will install Inmail (w/all its problems) on small systems,. but anything over 20-30 ext's I like CallXpress better.

Hi

We never sold the inskin stuff over here either. For less money, you could buy a Zeacom license and have much better voicemail and infinitely more besides....

Callxpress I only ever installed on Ascom (Aastra) systems. It was very reliable but could get overly complicated with callprocessors sending to callprocessors, sending to callprocessors and all that kind of stuff. The unified messaging was way ahead of it's time (speech to text and text to speech).

Still by far the best voice mail system in the enitre world. Having selling it since 1992. Integrates with everything, by far least bugs and most reliable system out there. If your not selling it now, you should start.

Complicated, I never found, program with my eyes closed. Very streight forward. Never been asked by a customer to do something and had to say can not.

Do you buy it direct from Captaris? The problem we had here is that we had to buy it through a third party and the price was bumped up. If we could buy from them direct then it might be viable...

I went onto AVST's UK website. Sent them a friendly email and got an autoresponder saying I would definitely hear from them in 3 days. It's been 3 weeks.

I would just call them, chances are the request you made went to the U.S and never forwarded.
